We announce the death of Duane Allen Stevens of Lakeview, Michigan, born in Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 86. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwyn Stevens and Pauline Stevens (Petersen); his wife Sandy; his brothers-in-law, Ted Bell and Steve Johnson; his sons-in-law, Pat Houghton and Bob Seibert; his grandson-in-law Ryan Bowers; and his close friend Diane Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Stevens (Pat) of Bossier City, Louisiana, Brenda Byrne (Frank) of Grapevine, Texas and Connie Patton of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Lindsey Bowers, Dave Schur (Sarah), Dan Schur (Hannah), Aaron Stevens (Taylor) and Tyler Stevens (Tessa); his sisters, Kathy Young (Bob) of Arizona, Paulette Hogarth (Jim) of Ionia and Linda Johnson of Morley; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Bell of Stanwood and Jean Bell (Marvin) of Stanwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
