He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Behrenwald (Fox) and Charlotte Behrenwald; his in-laws, Fred and Helen Ward; his brother Henry Behrenwald (Marlene); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Ward and Mary Behrenwald (Roush).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Behrenwald; his granddaughter Julie Ford (Ed) of Greenville; his children, Alexandra Gudbrandson (Adam), Megan Horn (Clay) and Ronald Behrenwald (Christine) of Sand Lake; his grandchildren, Anna and Lauren Behrenwald; his daughter Sarah Johnson (Mike); his grandchildren, Noah and Ava Johnson; his son David Behrenwald (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kalyn Ingles (Shea) and Kyler Behrenwald; his great grandchild Evan Gudbrandson; his siblings, Donald Behrenwald of Sparta and Judy Flachs (Ronald) of Hickory Corners; and his sisters-in-law, Deanna Ward of Six Lakes and RuthAnn Granfors of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
