She was predeceased by: her parents, David Scholes and Luella Scholes (Pfeiffer); her husband Arthur Shepard; her sister Elaine Main; her niece Jennifer Fiedler; her stepmother Laura Lischner Herzog Scholes; and her stepsiblings, Howard, Willard Herzog and Edith Triefenbach.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Shepard of Greenville and Laurie Gansen (Robert) of Hamilton; her grandsons, David Gansen of Lakeview and Daniel Gansen (Kassandra) of Newaygo; her great grandchild Everly Ann; her sister Diane Harms of Freeburg, IL; and her great-niece Lucy Fiedler. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
