She was predeceased by : her parents, Myrtice Bailey Maddock and Neil E. Maddock; her husband Donald K. Rankin, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Bernice and Donald K. Rankin Sr.; her brother Neil C. Maddock; and her sister-in-law Victoria Rankin.

She is survived by : her children, Julie Lohff (Michael) of Janesville, WI and Jyll Mitchell (Scott) of Lakeview, MI; her grandsons, Aaryn Mitchell (Raychel Nielsen) of Lakeview and Addison (Britney Schoen) of Lakeview; her siblings, Jeffrey Lynn Maddock (Pamela) of Fenton, MI and Mary Ambos (Larry) of Columbia, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Maddock of Loganville, GA, Kathleen Rice of Spring Arbor, MI, Judith Herban of Benzonia, MI, Christine Sharrow of Traverse City, MI and Gary Rankin of Traverse City, MI. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
