It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Donald Ackerson of Lakeview, Michigan, born in Sheridan, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Cathy Ackerson of Lakeview; his daughters, Lisa Young (Tim) of Valparaiso, IN and Katie (Mike Burgess); his grandchildren, Cameron and Sydney Moore; his brothers, Randy Ackerson (Mariann) of Greenville, Ray Ackerson (Karen) of Gowen, Roger Ackerson (Nancy) of Coral and Darrell Way of Stanton; his parents-in-law, Larry and Dolores Gilbert of Lakeview; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Gilbert (Julie) of Nashville, MI and Julie Menard (Ron) of North Dakota. He is also survived by aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
