It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Esther Smith of Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nihl Monroe and Lillian Marguerite Cross (Gyger); her husband Duane Thomas Smith; her siblings, Doris Cannon (Marvin), Noreen Abbey (Mick) and Robert Cross (Altona); her parents-in-law, Francis Smith and Ilo Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Don Smith (Lou), Shirley Smith and Jean Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin; her son-in-law Michael Poulsen of Trufant; her son Joel; her daughter-in-law Cindy of Stanwood; her grandchildren, Jason Poulsen (Michele), Sara Adair (Mark), Amanda Wethington (Sean), Katie Sparrow (Jeremy) and Alison Gridley (Rich); her great grandchildren, Jack, Joseph Adair, Barrett, Berkeley Wethington, Nolan and Everett Sparrow; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Smith and Clair Smith.
