He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Jones and Lorena Jones (Whitcombe); his daughter Suzanne; and his great grandchildren, Matti and Alix CJ.

He is survived by: his friend Lois Saint; his children, Rose Jones and Charles M. Jones Jr. (Caroline); and his grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Bob, Melissa, Jamie, Jessi, Tonia, Charles III and Brandilynn. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
