With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire L. Kerekes of Lambertville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Claire L. Kerekes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Kindt and Elizabeth Kindt (Wendell); her husband Steven Kerekes Jr.; her son Steven Kerekes III; and her siblings, Marge Johoske and Eugene Kindt.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary E. Dehring (James); her grandchildren, Kevin Kerekes, Beth Baisz-Kerekes and Amy Dehring; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Lucas, Libbey, Aurora and Evelyn; her siblings, Roseann Handwork, Joan McCann, Marian Huff and Robert Kindt; and her sister-in-law Gloria Kindt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (420 Sandusky St, Toledo, OH 43611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Lake Township Cemetery (3550 Walbridge Rd, Millbury, OH 43447).
