He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Strand and Marian Strand (Hegglund); and his sister Jacqueline Sochay (Strand). He is survived by: his children, Rodger Strand (Janet Coykendall) and Jennifer Strand; his stepchildren, Wendy, Danny, Julie and Scott; his close friend Jackie McMahon; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Levi and Deja. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
