He is survived by: his wife Ardith "Ardie" Murphy (Drollinger); his sons, William Murphy Jr. and Michael Murphy (Michelle); his stepson Steve Rafferty (Shawn); his siblings, Robert Murphy (Pam), Barry Murphy (Jeanne) and Bonnie Baltzer (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Marisa, Keegan, Ronan, Lauren, Kayla, Kari, Taylor, Brooke and Bailey. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
