He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Funke and Agnes Funke (Broemer); his wife Verna; and his siblings, Paul, Bernie, Helen and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Funke Jr. (Tina) of L'Anse, Melissa Austin (Scott) of Coldwater, MI and Jason Funke (Tom) of Gurnee, IL; his grandchildren, Mercie, Tyler, Jenikka, Emma and Addison; and his brothers, Donald Funke (Rosie) of L'Anse and Albert Funke of L'Anse. He is also survived by family members and friends.
