She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Maki and Viola Maki (Kemppainen); and her nephew Donald "Donnie" Nesselroad. She is survived by : her siblings, Melvin Maki of Houghton, Michigan, Carol Seppanen (John) of L'Anse and Mary Spradlin (Tom) of Pelkie, Michigan; her nephew Kevin Nesselroad; and her nieces, Kristy Seppanen of L'Anse and Julie Petoskey (Micah) of Baraga.
