Helen A. Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, at the age of 80, Helen A. Nelson (Lanse, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alec Maki and Gertrude Maki; and her siblings, Sandy, Verna, Tina, Andy, Alec and David.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Allen Nelson of Detroit and Sarah Hinokio (Keisuke) of Nagoya; her grandchild Taylor Nelson; her sisters, Alice Ryander (Jon), Lee Rowe (Bill) and Norma Virta (Bill); and her brothers-in-law, David Luusua and Jack Bell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
