He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tobiness and Sylvia Cree; his grandparents, Charlie and Rose Cree; his brothers, Archie, Walter and William Morin; and his grandson Raymond Adams Cree.

He is survived by: his wife Augustina Cree of L'Anse, Michigan; his daughters, Jo-Ellen Cree of Billings, Monica Hanson (Jeff) of Shepherd and Stephanie Cree of Billings, Montana; and his siblings, Lourelia Martin of Billings, Roberta Lord (Leland) of Bemidji and Keith Morin of Fargo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
