She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Mueller and Hilda Mueller (Hansen); and her brother James "Jim" Mueller. She is survived by: her husband Bill Parkila of L'Anse; her children, Kevin Parkila (Magdalena) of Royal Oak, MI and Mara Olden (David) of Coon Rapids, MN; her siblings, Rick Mueller (Debbie) of Apple Valley, MN and Kathy Holman (Roger) of Chisholm, MN; her sister-in-law Cheri Mueller of Willmar, MN; and her grandchildren, Nathan Olden, Ethan Olden, Lukas Parkila and Monika Parkila.
