It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardythe Constance Niemela of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Budnik and Elodese Crystal Budnik (Rice); her husband Elmer "Pud" Niemela of Sebastian's Catholic Church; her brothers, Walter and Joseph; and her grandson Daniel Garland.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Niemela (Patricia) of Haslett, Christopher Niemela of Haslett, Julie Niemela of Grand Rapids and Lori Garland of Howell; her grandchildren, Jason Garland (Stephanie) of Greenville, Dr. Jacob Lupini of Southgate and Daniel' (Chelsea) of Howell; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Isabelle, Collin, Camryn and Sawyer.
