It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Lucille Hoover of Lansing, Michigan, born in Howell, Michigan, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bain and Evelyn Bain (Smith); her husband Dale Hoover; her son Mike Hoover; her siblings, Tom Bain (Rose), Betty Murphy (Howard), George Bain and Frances Davis (Dick); her sons-in-law, Ken Redburn and Tom Cooley; and her sister-in-law Julia Bain.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Phillips (Jack), Karen Smith, Patty Redburn and Marilyn Hoover-Cooley; her grandchildren, Wendy Johnson (Derek), Stacey Malloy (Micah), Brent Smith (Missy), Matthew Smith (Miranda), Kim Reed (Jay), Jamie Redburn (Beth), Michelle Armstrong (Justin) and Emily McAdams (Corey); her siblings, Linda (Richter) and Ralph Bain (Cindi); and her sister-in-law Joyce Bain. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gunnisonville Senior Assisted Living or Optimal Hospice in memory of Arlene.
