She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Byington and Jeannette Byington; and her siblings, Judith Siegert, John Byington and Doug Byington.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Chapman, Jr.; her children, Kris Chapman, Thomas Chapman, III and Craig Chapman; her granddaughter Julia Chapman; her brother Walter Byington, IV (Kandy); her daughter-in-law Dana Schueller; and her grandchildren-in-law, Jaren Scoggins (Brooke) and Tara Scoggins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sisters in-law.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
