We announce the death of Betty Jane (McCrary) Wilson in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 85. Betty Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McCrary and Helen McCrary; her husband George "Wendell" Wilson; her grandchildren, Tahlia Wilson and Shane Wilson; her great grandchild Oliver Wilson; and her brother-in-law Wallace Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Carri Wetherell (Sparky), George "Dan" Wilson (Renee), Todd Chambers (Jodi), David Wilson (Elizabeth), Robin Borowski and Dianne Carlisle (Willie); her grandchildren, Joshua Wetherell, Caleb Wetherell, George "Cameron" Wilson (Anna), Stacey Sears (Ryan), Pamela DeMent (Ryan), Tyler Wilson (Brittany), Colin Wilson (Jordyn), Michelle Borowski, Ryan Borowski (Symantha Taylor) and Ta'Lia Carlisle; her great grandchildren, Tristyn Wetherell, Charlotte Wilson, Myles Wilson, Noah Sears, Harper Sears, Nathan Sears, Edward DeMent, Mila Popma, Sage Wilson, Brooks Wilson, Remi Wilson, Acre Wilson, Hudson Wilson, Holden Wilson, Olivia Borowski and Mason Christensen; her sister Pamela Thompson (John); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Wilson (Suzie) and Ann Worgul (Dave). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
