We announce the death of Bruce Edward Burke of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burke and Meredith Burke; his parents-in-law, Tom and Teresa Costigan; his brother-in-law Daniel Costigan; and his grandson Sean Michael Duda.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughters, Bridget Zeuty (Eric), Colleen Lewter (Jesse) and Erin Duda (Matt); his grandchildren, Natalie, Judson and Anderson Lewter; his daughters, Maeve and Sloane Duda; his brother Byron Burke (Marlys); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Costigan, Grace Costigan (late Daniel), Patrick (Cecelia), Christopher (Margaret) and Joseph Costigan (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gerard Catholic Church (4437 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
In lieu of flowers, family wants to honor his wishes that any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Gerard/St. Vincent Food Pantry in his memory.
