He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hilliard and Etta Hilliard (McDaniel); his wife Maggie; his children, Steven Hilliard (Dena), Scott Hilliard and Staci Sova (Jeff); his granddaughter Rayn Sova; and his sister Shirley Maniss (Bob).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes- Holt Chapel (5035 W Holt Rd, Holt, MI 48842). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (3815 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48910). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2520 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
