She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Dexter (Bosma); her brother Matthew Dexter; her parents-in-law, Norma Burris (McMurrin) and Donnis Burris; her stepgranddaughter Alyssa Wood; and her sibling's children, Julie Anglin, Jay Anglin and Andrew Parks.
She is survived by: her husband David Burris; her children, Lindsay Wood (Aaron), Landon Burris (Tiffany), Austin Burris (Christina) and Trent Burris; her grandchildren, Leo Burris, Griffin Wood, Luke Burris, Daphne Wood, Aurora Wood, Elijah Wood and Rachael Wood; her pet Josephine Ruby; her father Larry Dexter; her siblings, Robin Anglin (Dale), Krystal Cox (Jeff) and Scott Dexter (Susan); and her in-laws, Kathy Dexter, Duane Burris (Debbie), Diane Berry (Odell), Donnis Burris (Linda), Denise Parks (Jim) and Dan Burris (Angie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Homes Giving Hope or Grand Ledge Church of the Nazarene—two organizations that were especially dear to Candy.
