Cindy Hufnagel Fontus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Hufnagel Fontus (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Carl Hufnagel; and her grandson Jalin Tyson. She is survived by: her mother Joan Hufnagel (Rice); her husband Renan Fontus, II; her daughters, Alexandra Piper (Cale) and Andrea Tyson (Terry); her grandchildren, Alec Thomas, Terry Tyson, III, Terrell Tyson, Abel Piper and Adrien Piper; and her siblings, Gary Hufnagel (Karol), Gail Hebert (Tim), Sandra Denison (Dave) and Carla (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (219 Seymour Ave, Lansing, MI 48933). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
