She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Cotton; and her grandfather Nelson King. She is survived by: her children, Shatele Richardson, LaToya Richardson and Marius Richardson; her grandchildren, Kevin Price, Jr., Skai Ethridge and Mariana Richardson; her father Curtis Cotton; her siblings, Marcella Cotton and Anthony Cotton; her siblings' children, LaMia Cotton, Mercedes Cotton, Desiree Foy, Darielle Draper, Nankiem Cotton and Adonis Cotton; her aunts, Barbara Greenwood (Lonzo), Josephine Lewis, Sandra Cotton and Mary Ann Johnson; her great-aunt Martha Williams; her uncles, Rickey Cotton (Marie), Stanley Cotton, Donnie Cotton (Linda), Houston Wilson, Phinis Jones and Bruce Cotton; her cousins, Teresa Williams and Tina Anderson; and her close friends, Kisha Beard and Yuvet White.
