With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Leoti Chadwell (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darrell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Hicks and Eugene Hicks; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his brother Duane Chadwell (Connie); his sister-in-law Marla Chadwell; and his children, Jo Chadwell (Jody), Steve Chadwell (Julie) and David Chadwell (Wendy). He is also survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
