David Eugene LaHaine Obituary
We bid farewell to David Eugene LaHaine (Lansing, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 71. David Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert LaHaine and Dorothy LaHaine (Williams); his wife Rosemarie "Faith" LaHaine; his sister Susan LaHaine; his aunt Margaret LaHaine; his nephew Paul Stroup; and his niece Casey Sieb.
He is survived by: his children, David LaHaine, Jr. (Kelly), Christine Kadu, Amanda Murphy (Patrick) and Daniel LaHaine; his grandchildren, Jacob, Mara, Zachary, Andrew, Hannah, Taylor, Evan, Ethan and Jonah; his siblings, Gilbert LaHaine (Diane), Karen Gorman (Ed), Barbara Hoback (Newell), Ruth Worden, Marianne Krueger (David), Steven LaHaine and Eric LaHaine (Theresa); and his brother-in-law Barry Dyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1001 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI 48906).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the family to help defer funeral costs c/o Christine Kadu, 5013 Oakbrook Dr., Lansing, MI 48910.
