He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence A. Murray and Hazel Murray (Loveland); and his siblings, Ramona Moyle Wright, Russell "Bud" Murray and Janet Phelps.
He is survived by: his wife Helene Murray (Garske); his children, Dawn Pyles (Gary), Jennifer DeKam, Juli Otterbine, Carol Eaton (David) and Katie Vanliew (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jason, Angela, David, Tyler, Jacqui, Abbigale, Simon and Quinn; and his brothers-in-law, Charles and Rick Beardsley. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He later brought his entrepreneurial spirit to Murray-Gorthy Real Estate in Mt. Pleasant, where he made meaningful contributions to the local community.
