We are sad to announce that, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 94, Dawn I. Summers in Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl H. Hulett and Mabel A Hulett (Sumner); and her siblings, Marvin Hulett, Rev. James Hulett, Marion Boyd, Wilma Faust and Joyce Gutchess.
She is survived by: her spouse Rev. Verne C. Summers; her caregiver Charlotte; her children, Wayne (Linda), Paul (Alma) and Brenda Summers (Jeanette Hoyer) of Norton Shores, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Eric Summers, Michelle Brower (Chris), Jonathan Summers (Suzanne), Tyler Summers, Laurie Summers, Timothy Summers (Christina) and Azeezah Ford; her children, Bobbi and Charles Kemp; her grandchildren, Jonathon Keaton, Gail Collins (Kemp), Charles Kemp Jr. and Dawn Kemp-Palacios; and her siblings, Rev. Dwayne Hulett (Naomi), Elwyn Hulett (Cynthia), Evelyn Wegner (Glenn) and Linda Williaume (David). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
