It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Derek Scott Babcock in Lansing, Michigan, born in Perry, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Babcock; his sister Monique Esser; and his son-in-law Richard Wallace. He is survived by: his mother Estelle Babcock; his children, Sarah Wallace, Jamie Beaubier (Shane), Brendon Koonce, Annabella Babcock and Noah Babcock; his grandchildren, Richard II, Brooklyn, Cameron, Mackenzie Wallace, Shane II and Zander Beaubier; his siblings, William Babock II (Noah) and Danielle Needham (Randy); and his friend Doris Sullivan (Miranda Babcock). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Judes Hospital in memory of Derek.
