Don Carter Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Don Carter of Lansing, Michigan is shared. Don, born on February 18, 1944, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carter and Evelyn Carter; his in-laws, Knutes and Anna Rose; his sons, Dan and Dennis Carter; and his daughter-in-law Barb Carter.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Rose; his daughter-in-law Ann Carter (Dan); his children, David Carter (Staci), Darren Carter (Jami) and Deanna Houghton (Jason); and his grandchildren, Danielle Carter (Lisa), Mackenzie Rennaker (Ethan), Donovan Carter, Demi Carter (Justus), Darbi Carter, Dalton Carter (Ryleigh) of Caleb Carter, JT, Jayke Houghton and Jarred Houghton. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 3420 S Creyts Rd, Lansing, MI 48917.
