He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Kaufman (Sandy) and Sarah Bornstein Kaufman (Shirley); his wife Dr. Elizabeth Kaufman (Liz); his children, Matthew Kaufman (Stephanie) and Tamara Tsoutsouris (Wolfgang); his sister Lois Neiter; and his grandchildren, Abraham, Batya Urowitz Kaufman, Niobe and Gideon Tsoutsouris.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel (325 W Washtenaw St, Lansing, MI 48933).
