With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Edgar West of Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. "Ed" West and Versal A. West (Rupright); and his siblings, Carlene "Jean" Frazier, Marlene Chard and Robert L. "Bob" West.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Jane" West; his children, Susan Knepp (Jason) and Jeff West (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Enno, Audrey, Ethan, Chloe and Conner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 1540 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912.
