Doryce Verhougstraete Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doryce Verhougstraete of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Cross and Geteau Cross (Hilts); her husband Oscar; her sons, Douglas and Kent; and her sisters, Betty Jones (Bob) and Donna McKeen (Robert).

She is survived by: her son David (Cris); her daughters-in-law, Brenda Underwood (Barry) and Donna; her grandchildren, Brian (Amy), Brandon (Andrea), Marc (Amy), Katie Mason (Luke) and Dan (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Mallory, Emily, Hattie Rose, Molly and Ozzie Thomas.
