He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Brandon and B. Lauree Brandon (Harmon); and his brother-in-law Jim Kinney. He is survived by: his sisters, Elaine Shopbell (Wendell) of Lexington, MI, Eileen Kinney of Hillsdale and C. Denise Swander (Steve) of Montgomery; and his nieces and nephews, Daryn Shopbell (Nasim), Kristen Benjamin (Scott), Robyn Duby (Eric), Nathan Shopbell (Kristi), Timothy Kinney (Natalie), Scott Kinney (Durae), Amanda Waskiewicz (David), Heather Gallippo, Jeannie Conroy (Pat) and Dustin Swander.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Berg Cemetery.
