He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Buehler and Katherine Buehler. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Brian (Tammy) and Jason (Cheri); and his sisters, Brenda, Karlene, Kristine and Elaine (Leonard). He is also survived by his two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a large circle of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes-Lansing Chapel (520 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (4001 S Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing, MI 48910).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's memory to Zion Lutheran Church, where his family and friends have worshiped for decades and provide for outreach.
