He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Julie Mateer of Lansing and Stephen Rieger (Loretta) of Seattle, WA; his stepdaughter Dale Burnworth of Lansing; his grandchildren, Kevin Mateer (Shanell), Scott Mateer (Laura), Kathryn Anderson (Evan), Jeffrey Mateer, Brian Rieger, Leah Rieger, Melissa Berlin, Megan Burton and Mallory Burton; and his stepgrandson Alexander Burnworth. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
