As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Garold may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Donal Riggs. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Riggs; his daughter Sarah A. Riggs; his grandchildren, Myah Riggs-Wright and Paige Ross-Riggs; his son Andrew Riggs; his daughter-in-law Sarah E. Riggs; his grandson Henrik Riggs; his brothers, Thomas Riggs and Gerald Riggs (Philip Riggs); Michael Stanley and Wendy Stanley.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lansing Seventh Day Adventist Church (5400 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
