He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Goddard and Naomi Goddard; and his siblings, Phil, Claude, Phyllis and Diane.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Pavick; his children, Steve Goddard (Christine), Amanda Goddard, Nicole Purdy (Kyle) and Kimberly Karle; his grandchildren, Steven Goddard (Liberty), Megan and Hannah Purdy; his son Oliver Karle; and his brother Joe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on his behalf to the American Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
