He is survived by: his children, Kristen Houston (Jeff Vanderschaaf) and Chad Mosier (Mary); his grandchildren, Alex, Jacob Houston (Louise Thurkle), Elena and Aiden Mosier; his sisters-in-law, Marye Cunningham (Tom) and Janette Moore; his brother Ronald Rittenburg (Kathy); his nephew Scott Rittenburg; and his great-nephew Alex Rittenburg of California.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lansing Food Bank and to the Capitol Area Humane Society in memory of Gary.
