He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Mae Kole (Hamm) and Donald "Steve" Earl Lemon; and his stepfather Robert Kole. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Ryan Stacey (Natalie) and Alicia Smith (Lee); his grandchildren, Brennen, Tala, Chayton, Sophia and Sienna; and his siblings, David Lemon (Judi), Cliff Lemon (Mona) and Linda Wood (Art). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Gary.
