It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Leist of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Leist and Martha Leist (Coles); his sister Phyllis Brown; and his brother-in-law Robert Barner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Leist; his children, Sherry Brown-Cole, Dean "Randy" Leist, Ralph Leist and Robbie Leist (Jamie); his grandchildren, Ayiesha Ewing, Brandi Webb, Jerrick Canty, Kyleigh Brown, Karleigh Pennington (Ryan), Zackery Leist (Miranda), Nate Brown and Kyleigh O'Brien (Taggert Castleton); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Dalton, Connor, Payton, Bransen, Ja'Khai, Avery, Daisy, Wyatt, Atley and Sonny; and his sisters, Carol Perry (Johnny), Mary Barner and Paula Vallance. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
