He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Lorencen and Josephine Lorencen (Cooper); his siblings, Robert "Bob" (Peg), Bill, George (Alene), Ron (Betty), Ed, Margaret "Sis" Brockwell (Les), Maxine Hunt (Larry), Max (Shirley), Doris Lorencen and Michael Kreiser; and his nephews, John (Shirley), Rick and Michael Lorencen (Cheryl).
He is survived by: his brother Richard "Dick" Lorencen (Sue); his wife Deanna Dusseau; his children, Ken Lorencen, Sherry Crouch (Mark) and Brian Lorencen (Brandi); his grandchildren, Tyler Lorencen, Bailey Burton (Andy), Carly Sparks (Jon), Miranda Weaver (Wade), Mason Kreiser, Dillon Kreiser, Mitch Crouch, Brock Lorencen and Brody Lorencen; his great grandchildren, Emmarie Weaver and Jackson Sparks; and his friend Jerry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917). A rosary was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2520 W Willow St, Lansing, MI 48917).
