He is survived by: his children, Laura Meyer (Todd) and Jeffrey Merrill (Nancy); his grandchildren, Charly Henry, Kelsey Silvers (Mike), David Merrill, Matthew Merrill and Ryan Austin; his great grandchildren, Vale, Lincoln, McKinley, Oliver, Lyndin and Taylor; his siblings, Sandra Jones and Steve Merrill; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hansbarger (Roger) and Molly Merrill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mills Funeral Home - Peters & Murray Chapel (301 E Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
