He was predeceased by: his sister Brooke Elaine Lawson. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Lawson and Meashell Lawson (Partridge); his fiancé Haelee Smith; his siblings, Tyler Lawson (Hailey) and Katelynn Turner; his grandparents, Craig, Fran Lawson, Rod and Cindy Partridge; his aunts and uncles, Scott Patridge, Stacey Tinsley (Kevin) and Sam Lawson; his nieces, River Lawson and Iyla Wilette; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Kellie Smith; his sister-in-law Sadie Smith; and his friends, Maverick, Juneau and Maizie.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Church (202 S Creyts Rd, Lansing, MI 48917). A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
