He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Evelene Smith (Coppens); his wife Colette; his brothers, Dan, Randy and Joe; his brother-in-law Bob Miller; and his sister Sandy.
He is survived by: his children, Tara McFarland (Lon) and Robert Smith (Tammi); his stepchildren, Michael Fisher (Mian), Susan Fisher and Eddie Fisher; and his siblings, Ricky Lee Smith (Kathy), Rod Snay (Mary), Dawn Salazar (Joe), Sue Eyer (Michael) and Kathy Miller. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
