It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Arlene Rentz of Lansing, Michigan, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Mitskus and Margaret Mitskus (Miller); her daughter Marie Mitskus; and her sisters, Gloria Gifford and Margaret "Peggy" Mitskus.

She is survived by : her daughters, Laura Rentz (Jeffrey Wittig) and Dawn Kildee (Demetrius Ware); her grandchildren, Mya Schwem, Demetrius Ware Jr., Amarianna Ware, Nacius Ware, Christopher Ware, Malachi Ware and Avery Ware; her brother Ronnie Mitskus; her niece Christina Gifford; and her great-nephew Eric Gifford.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
