He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Austin and Mattie Lee Austin; his grandson Ardis Davis; his siblings, Mark Austin, Ruddy Gibbs and Cynthia Austin; and his nephew Darnell Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Felicia Clayborn; his children, Stacy Austin (Rodney), Fatima Austin-Davis and Jerome Anthony Austin Jr.; his grandchildren, Love Seay, Tyronique Davis, Jaden Austin, Giovanni Austin, Tay'Veon Davis, Jasai Moore and Shilah Moore; his sisters, Gail Robertson (Earl), Vickie Quinney (Mack) and Lorraine Austin; and his close friend Joyce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
