He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weeden-Henry Bowman and Nancy Ann Bowman (Sedelmaier); and his half-sister Connie Mulvin of Iowa. He is survived by: his siblings, Timothy Bowman of Lansing and Penny Guajardo of Lansing; and his half-sister Colleen Stewart of Illinois. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; along with other extended family.
