Jesse Castillo Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Jesse Castillo (Lansing, Michigan) is shared. Jesse, born on January 26, 1940 in Rosebush, Michigan, passed away on October 7, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jesse Castillo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadelupe Castillo and Estefana Castillo (Sandoval); his siblings, Joe, Danny, Adolfo (Rudy), Pat Castillo and Tomisita Segura (Toni); and his son Daniel Castillo.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Castillo; his children, Kellie Kamphuis (Todd) and Jesse Castillo (Andra); his stepchildren, Craig Brockhaus, Curt Brockhaus (Juanita) and Rebecca Kaspryk (John); his sister Ruth Dahn; and his sister-in-law Barb Castillo. He is also survived by grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gerard Catholic Church (4437 W Willow Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Jesse's memory to make a donation to Designed Future, 551 Pine Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, in his honor.
