It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeverson K. Kelley in Lansing, Michigan, born in Wabbaseka, Arkansas, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathie Kelley and Lemon Kelley Sr.; his grandparents, Malotha Willingham and Georginia Willingham; and his siblings, Eather Gillespie, Leroy Kelley, Sylvester Kelley of Cleophus Kelley, M. W, Joe Kelley, Lemon Kelley Jr. and Joe R. Kelly.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Kelley; his daughter Kellyce Kelley; his grandson Amari Kelley (Talia); his great grandchild Kennedy Kelley; his brother James Kelley (Cynthia); his siblings-in-law, Benjamin VanDyke, Cecil VanDyke and Rochelle VanDyke; and his goddaughter Robyne Muray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“I worked Kelly at GM I was his Union rep. which he never needed but I still stopped by his job and visited everyday.. He was the best worker, we all loved him. He was always so kind, caring, giving, understanding there to give a helping hand. God has called a precious Angel home. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
